Industrial softball tourney donates $8,200 to charity
Kwik Fill won the 33-team men’s division, and Stover’s Tree Service repeated to win the 30-team co-ed division, of the 29th Annual Terry F. Ristau Industrial Softball Tournament this past weekend at Betts Park. On behalf of the top tourney teams, proceeds from the tournament, over $220,000 over the first 29 tournaments, is donated to local charities. First-place Kwik Fill is a three-time Industrial tournament champion. Kwik Fill is donating $1,200 for finishing first ($400 to the Betts Park Field Renovation Fund, $400 to the Warren Jaycees, and $400 to the Warren Sports Boosters); Men’s division second-place team, Warren Elks Lodge No. 223, is donating $1,000 ($500 to Betts Park Field Renovation Fund, $200 to Warren County Hospice, $200 to Friends of Warren Basketball, and $100 to the Elks Lodge Cerebral Palsy Fund); Third-place Oil, Sweat and Rigs is donating $800 ($400 to the Warren Jaycees and $400 to the Betts Park Field Renovation Fund); Fourth-place Ellwood 3 is donatin
