WESTFIELD - Parkview Cafe and Ice Cream Parlor/Soda Fountain at 3 East Main Street in Westfield will close for renovations at the end of January with planned reopening in April.
The office of the Westfield Historian at 3 East Main Street will continue to be open Monday through Friday, from 9 to 11 a.m. Westfield Historian Marybelle Beigh can be reached at 326-2457 during these office hours and 397-9254 at other times during the days and evenings, Monday through Saturday. Ice cream inventory and baked goods will be on sale at Parkview during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3:30 to 5 p.m. Quiche, paninis and hot and cold beverages will also be available until sold out. Additional sale hours on Saturday, Jan. 28, Monday, Jan. 30 and Thursday, Jan. 31 will be posted at 3 East Main Street if needed for selling off any remaining ice cream inventory.
Sale prices include, but are not limited to the following: ice cream for $0.50 per scoop in cake cone or dish; meltdown sundae for $0.99 for one scoop any flavor of ice cream available, topped with hot fudge, or any available topping or syrup of your choice; frosted ice cream cone cutout sugar cookies for $0.59 apiece, or two for $0.99; small containers, one cup or one pint, will be available for packed-on-site ice cream for a price to be announced.
