BROCTON - Rob Fetterick has been named the Brocton varsity baseball coach for the 2015 season.

The announcement was made during the Feb. 26 Brocton Board of Education board meeting.

Larry Westin will head the jayvee baseball program and will be joined by volunteers William Westin and William Rexford.

Julie Arnold was announced as the varsity softball coach, along with volunteer assistant John F. Arnold.

At the modified level, Maria Sigeti will be the modified softball head coach.

In other matters, Brocton Central School has used all five of its budgeted snow days for the 2014-15 school year.

If a sixth snow day is needed, May 22 will be used as a make-up day, which is the same date the school used last year for an additional day.

In the event of a seventh snow day, April 6 - the Monday before Easter - will be used to make up for lost time.

Also, notice was given that the Annual Meeting and Election of the Brocton Central School District will be held at the school on May 19 between 12 and 8 p.m. At that time, "the election of a member of the Board of Education and the vote upon the appropriation of the necessary funds to meet the estimated expenditures of the school district for the 2015-16 school year" will take place.
