5. Demonstrates a positive attitude and good citizenship

Three students were selected as a Student of the Month for the month of February.

The 6th grade recipient is Alexa Quagliana. In school Alexa enjoys her math and science classes as they relate to each other and keep her focused. In her spare time she enjoys attending church and church school on Sundays to learn more about her religion. In the future Alexa hopes to work with pets and animals, perhaps as a veterinarian. Ellie Brown received this honor for the 7th grade. In school she enjoys her ELA and science classes, because of the teachers and activities in the classes. As a hobby, Ellie enjoys baking and dancing. In the future she hopes to attend college, and compete in cupcake wars with her sister. At the 8th grade level Olivia Clamp received this honor. In school she enjoys many of her classes for the different skills they allow her to use. Outside of the classroom Olivia enjoys playing the violin and also being a member of the soccer team. A future goal she has is to continue to develop her musical abilities and play violin in an orchestra or become a music teacher.

The Westfield School and community offer their congratulations to these outstanding students.
