Hornets sting Bulldogs, 4-0

FREDONIA (Dec. 14) - The Forestville Hornets (13-3) topped the Brocton Bulldogs (8-8), 4-0, Monday in CCAA Division 2 boys high school bowling.

The Hornets' linescore read 831-866-808-2,505 while Brocton rolled a 751-838-763-2,352 at Lucky Lanes.

Forestville's top bowler was Brad Dillenburg, who rolled a 209-200-593. Phil Narraway charted a 217-184-583.

The Bulldogs were led by Jordan Krystofiak's 227-543. Steve Krystofiak rolled a 187-186-547 in defeat.

S. Krystofiak shines in Brocton win

SILVER CREEK (Dec. 9)- Steve Krystofiak cracked a 160-212-180-552 as the Brocton Bulldogs earned the 4-0 sweep over Silver Creek in CCAA Division 2 boys high school bowling.

The Bulldogs' linescore read 643-799-718-2,160 compared to Silver Creek's 554-474-544-1,572 at Lakeview Lanes.

Jordan Krystofiak added a 157-163-461 while teammate Josh Powell rolled a 158-152-430 for the victors.

The Black Knights were led by Daniel Paterson, who bowled a 159-150-408.

Billies sweep T'Birds

CLYMER (Dec. 9)- Fredonia (11-1) topped Chautauqua Lake (0-12), 4-0, Wednesday in CCAA Division 1 boys high school bowling behind Cody Decker's 165-183-188-536.

The Hillbillies rolled a 813-827-719-2,359 while Chautauqua Lake bowled a 516-548-446-1,510 at Cutting Lanes.

Trace Mackenzie contributed in the win with a 194-185-528 and Chandler Orr rolled a 173 for the victors.

The Thunderbirds were led by Max Hubbard's 200-155-494.

Fredonia's girls team was equally impressive with a 4-0 sweep. It's linescore read 728-713-682-2,123. Chautauqua Lake (0-12) finished with a 397-466-430-1,293.

Fredonia's (12-0) top bowler was Maitland Langworthy, who bowled a 167-189-495. Haley Zebraski added a 177-483 for the winners while Cassie Gilvin had a 163-170-477.

Chautauqua Lake's Tiffany Lugent charted a 302 series in defeat.

CL loses to Dunkirk

CLYMER (Dec. 8)- Dunkirk's boys and girls teams made easy work of Chautauqua Lake, during CCAA Division 1 bowling at Cutting Lanes, in Clymer, as both won by identical 4-0 scores.

In the boys' match, Dunkirk won by a linescore of 833-803-752-2,388 to Chautauqua Lake's 505-438-484-1,426.

The Marauders were led by Dale Lombardo, who shot a 190-185-194-569, and Jared Glowniak, who cracked a high game of 204, before finishing with a 524 set. Meanwhile, the Thunderbirds' top bowler was Max Hubbard, who had a 153-152-415.

In the girls' match, the Lady Marauders won by a linescore of 721-786-651-2,158 to the Lady Thunderbirds' (0-8) 465-425-456-1,346.

Dunkirk was led by AJ Pencek's 181-214-159-554 and Keraghan Krzyzanowicz's high game of 157. Trinity Skellie led Chautauqua Lake with a 340 set.
