Bulldogs clip Cardinals

JAMESTOWN - Consistent scores across the board helped Brocton sweep Randolph, 4-0, in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 boys bowling Wednesday, Jan. 6 at Jamestown Bowling Company.

Josh Powell's 493 led the Bulldogs (20-8), who received a 181 game from Steven Krystofiak and a 178 game from Jordan Krystofiak. As a team, Brocton rolled a 691-702-758-2,152.

Dunkirk sweeps

FREDONIA - Dunkirk's boys and girls swept Chautauqua Lake by identical 4-0 scores Wednesday in Division 1 action at Lucky Lanes.

The Marauders' girls team improved to 24-4 on the season by rolling a linescore of 778-757-718-2,253. Adrianna Pencek led Dunkirk with a 231-208-185-624 while high games were turned in by Makayla Pasierb (198), Mariah Glowniak (159) and Keraghen Krzyzanowicz (153, 158).

Tiffany Lutgen's 113-295 was the best score for the Thunderbirds (0-24), who rolled a linescore of 403-448-463-1,314.

Trevor Skelly's 166-157-408 led the Dunkirk (17-11) boys to a linescore of 672-762-702-2,136.

Jeyden Schrantz added a 385 set while Dale Lombaro (182), Tristan Skelly (180) and John Collins (176) had high games.

Max Hubbard rolled a 337 to lead the Thunderbirds (0-24).

Silver Creek boys earn sweep

SILVER CREEK - The Silver Creek boys (5-19) dropped Sherman/Clymer/Panama, 4-0, with a linescore of 590-578-593-1,761 on Wednesday in Division 2 action.

Clymer/Sherman/Panama rolled a 514-534-552-1,600 at Lakeview Lanes.

The Black Knights received a 173-133-425 from Cory Paterson while Danny Paterson rolled a 145-137-127-409.

Nicholas Frew had a 154-135-365 for Clymer/Sherman/Panama and Jonny Hazlett had a 128 in defeat.

For the girls, Silver Creek prevailed, 4-0.

The Black Knights (18-2) combined for a 606-692-585-1,883 while the Wolfpack charted a 579-470-475-1,524.

Clymer/Sherman/Panama's Janelle Ingalls had a 191-138-172-501 and Megan VanVolkenburg bowled a 136-135-394.
