Lucille Adelia Delcamp, 97, of Absolut of Westfield, NY passed away after a short illness Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016 at St Vincent's Hospital in Erie, Pa.

She was born in Portland, N.Y., on Jan. 30, 1919 to the late Rudolph and Josephine Barber Genske. She was a lifetime resident of this area. Lucille was a graduate of Fredonia Normal School of Fredonia and was a retired cook at SUNY Fredonia in Fredonia. In her life she loved gardening and canning many different types of foods.

She is survived by four sons: Rod (Marion) Delcamp of Brocton, James Delcamp, Wayne Delcamp and Jackie Delcamp; eight grandchildren: Dale Delcamp, Dennis W Delcamp, Daniel (Lisa) Delcamp, Dena (David) Brown, Debra (Charles) Dillenburg, Dennis (Kristen) Delcamp, Brian Delcamp and John Delcamp; and twelve great-grandchildren: Marissa, Shanelle, Dallas, Zachary, Jesse, Emily, Bradley, Nash, Greyson and Mia Delcamp, Todd Gugino and Taylor Gugino, one brother, Donald Genske of Jamestown, NY and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Archibald who passed away March 15, 1994 and one son, Dennis Lee Delcamp; five sisters, Mildred Corell, Dorothy Bowman, Emma Rapp, Marion Louise and Wilhemina Murphy, and two brothers, Theodore and James Genske.

A Memorial Funeral Ceremony for family and close friends took place on Monday, Feb. 29 at 11 a.m. from the Morse Funeral Home in Brocton, NY. Burial was in Portland Evergreen Cemetery. There was no prior visitation. To leave a message of condolence or remembrance, please log on to
