Arundel lists April schedule of Sunday afternoon concerts

NORTH EAST, Pa. - The Arundel Cellars & Brewing Co. family is delighted to welcome spring by continuing their free Sunday afternoon concerts series in April. Musicians will perform beside Arundel's beautiful new stone fireplace at 11727 E. Main Road (Rt. 20), in North East, Pa.

To kick off the month, on April 3, Rankin & Schell will perform from 1 to 4 p.m. Rankin & Schell is an acoustic duo (guitar & bass) from Erie featuring Glenn Rankin and Chip Schell. They play classic rock by artists such as James Taylor, Jim Croce, Bob Seger, the Beatles, America, Dobbie Brothers and Simon & Garfunkel.

On April 10, Pittsburgh singer/songwriter Meredith Holliday will perform from 1 to 4 p.m. While staying true to the original versions, Meredith creates her own acoustic spin on music from all genres including classic rock and country.

City Revival debuts at Arundel on April 17.

Gem City Revival, a new Erie band comprised of Abby Badach, Patrick Doyle, and Angela Phillips, will debut at Arundel on April 17 from 1 to 4 p.m. Promising to entertain audiences with old songs with a new soul and new songs with an old soul, the trio is known for Americana, folk, and a bit of bluegrass. They promise to entertain with a mix of covers by artists such as Neil Young, Gillian Welch, Jason Isbell, Townes Van Zandt, Fleetwood Mac, and the Beatles.

Then, the acoustic duo of Rankin & Schell will round out the month with an encore performance on April 24, again from 1 to 4 p.m. Don't miss another opportunity to enjoy their acoustic harmonies.

Delicious craft beers, premium wines, and light fare are available for purchase at every event. Come for lunch, and stay for the afternoon.
