Saturday, April 9

Ripley United Methodist Church is hosting an All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m. The breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, bacon, made-to-order eggs and omelets, home fries, biscuits and sausage gravy, orange juice and coffee. The cost is $7. This month's breakfast will benefit Friends of the Ripley Food Pantry.

Monday, April 11

SUNY Empire State College is holding an information session at 5:30 p.m., 112 West Main Street, Suite 1, Fredonia. Please call 673-1200 for reservations and/or information.

Wednesday, April 13

There will be a information session on the merger of the Westfield/Brocton and Fredonia football teams for members of the Brocton, Fredonia and Westfield communities. The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. at Brocton High School's cafeteria. Scot Stutzman, Fredonia High School's athletic director, said officials from the school districts will be available to take questions and listen to suggestions.

Thursday, April 14

The Westfield Senior Citizens will meet at the YWCA, 58 S. Portage St. at 6 p.m. Pat Cook will be the program, singing "Love Songs" with audience participation. The Westfield Womens Organization will provide supper, so no dish to pass or table service. Remember, this meeting starts the group's summer 6 p.m. hours.

Wednesday, April 20

St. Dominic Parish, Brocton, is hosting their spring spaghetti dinner from 4-7 p.m. at the church hall in Brocton. Dine in or takeout is available. Dinner includes generous portion of spaghetti, homemade meatballs & sauce, bread, salad, refreshment and dessert. The cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children.

The Chautauqua County Board of Health will hold its meeting at 6 p.m. in the HRC Building, 4th Floor Conference Room in Mayville. Anyone seeking further information or wishing to attend this meeting should call the Public Health Director's Office at 753-4590.

Stanley Hose Ladies Auxiliary is holding a Wine, Dine & Demos event. This event is by reservation only - so make your reservations now and take advantage of the early bird rate! Guests have a choice of a full package which includes boarding a motor coach for a wine tasting tour of five local wineries, dinner and demonstrations by local independent consultants, or a Dine & Demo package, which includes dinner and demonstrations by local independent consultants. The Portland Congregational Church will hold a chicken and biscuit dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. or sold out. The menu will be chicken & biscuit, mashed potatoes with gravy, vegetable, salad, dessert and beverage. Adults $9 and children 10 and under $6. The church is handicap accessible.
