Access Channel 5 announces upcoming programs

Access Channel 5 has announced programs for the upcoming week.

The channel will be airing the 2015 Chautauqua Institution lecture series. The following lecture will start on Saturday, April 16 with the last airing on Friday, April 22 at 12:45 and 6:45 PM: Vint Cerf, "Digital Vellum."

"Chautauqua Sunrise" will feature Jon Weston as the guest on April 16. Weston's topic of discussion will be Panama Rocks.

Host Doc Hamels will conduct the program. The live program airs from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday morning. The program is rebroadcast each day at 2 and 8 p.m. for some communities. The guest is subject to change.

"Film of the Century of the Week," hosted by George Roath, will air at 4 and 10 p.m. each day from April 16 through April 22. This week's film will be "Dimentia 13."

Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 5 with a cable converter or on 5.3 on digital televisions without a cable converter.
