Access Channel 5 announces programs for upcoming week

Access Channel 5 has announced the following programs for the coming week.

The following lecture, part of the 2015 Chautauqua Institution lecture series, will start on Saturday, May 7 with the last airing on Friday, May 13 at 12:45 and 6:45 p.m. Ulrike Guerot, "The Future of European Foreign Policy."

"Chautauqua Sunrise" will feature state Senator Cathy Young as the guest on May 7. Young will discuss what's happening in Albany and in her district.

Host Doc Hamels will conduct the program. The live program airs from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday morning. The program is rebroadcast each day at 2 and 8 p.m. for some communities. The guest is subject to change.

"Film of the Century of the Week," hosted by George Roath, will air at 4 and 10 p.m. each day from May 7 through May 13. This week's film will be "The Last Man on Earth."

Gail Erb, host of "Fresh Perspectives," will have guest Colleen Vanderzyden on her next program. The topic will be "Creating Your Best Life - New." The show will air Saturday, May 7 through Friday, May 13 at 33 and 9 p.m. each day.

Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 5 with a cable converter or on 5.3 on digital televisions without a cable converter.
