Pamela Jill Doto, 53 of Oakland Park, Florida, formerly of Westfield, passed away April 16, 2016.

Pamela was born Sept. 13, 1962 in Montclair, New Jersey to the late Anthony and Carmella (Granata) Doto. She attended Westfield Academy and graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. She was vice president of editorial at Forum Publishing Group since 2001. Before joining Forum, Doto was the managing editor of the Tonawanda News in Buffalo. She got her start in journalism as a reporter at the Anchorage Daily News. She interviewed many interesting people, including John McCain and Barack Obama for the United States presidential election of 2008.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on April 23, 2016 at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church at Lighthouse Pt., Florida. An interment service was held at Saint James Catholic Cemetery on May 7, 2016, in Westfield, New York.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Mike Behrent; a nephew and niece, Nathan and Nicole Behrent; and an uncle, Charles Granata.

The Freay Funeral Home in Mayville was in charge of local arrangements.
