Come out on Friday July 8th, to First Friday in downtown Westfield.

There will be all kinds of fun events, entertainment and food.

Starting at 6:00 in Moore Park will be a concert sponsored by the

Westfield Rec. Dept. The concert will feature WACS alums Alex

Underwood (class of 2011), Colton Myers (class of 2012) and Shawn

Wilder (class of 2005). The concert is free and people should bring

their own lawn chair or blanket to sit on. This program is made

possible (in part) by support from the United Arts Appeal of

Chautauqua County Projects Pool Grants Program.

Westfield's Friday Night Movies in Moore Park

Everyone is welcome to bring a chair or blanket and enjoy Westfield's

Friday Night Movies in Moore Park. The July 15 showing is "Inside

Out" sponsored by

Dr. Ian Caisley. Show time: as soon after dusk as is dark enough.

Parents are reminded that children must be accompanied by an adult and

supervised at all time. Enforced smoke, alcohol, and pet free

environment. Free admission.

In case of rain, the movie will be shown the following night in the park.

Fall Local Youth Soccer Signups

There is still time to signup for Fall Local Youth Soccer.

Applications can be picked up and turned in at the Village of

Westfield window in the Eason Hall, 23 Elm St. Applications can be

mailed in. For more information telephone 326-4243, visit our website or Rec Dept.

Bus Trip to Historic Hale Farms & Village Bath, Ohio

Come travel with us on a one day bus trip to Historic Hale Farms &

Village in Bath, Ohio on Wednesday,

August 3, 2016. Leaving at 8 am and returning at approx. 8 pm. Visit

historic sites and craft/trade demonstrations throughout the property.

We will stop for dinner on the way home. Cost: $51.00 PP. Dinner is

on your own.

Tour of Chautauqua Bike Ride

The 33rd annual Tour of Chautauqua Bike Ride will be held on Saturday,

August 13 originating and finishing in front of the Eason Hall, 23 Elm

St. Westfield, NY. The mass start begins at 9 am. Water and

refreshment stops and sag wagon services are provided. Helmets are

required. Recreational tours of courses of 25, 40, 62, 75 and 100

miles are offered, with a light meal at the finish provided. For more

Village of Westfield Walking Trails

There are five measured walking trails in the Village of Westfield.

They are described on signs in Moore Park and the Welch Field. The

trails are marked with color coded reflectors. Maps are also

available at the Village of Westfield window in the Eason Hall.

Help with yard work and odd jobs

Westfield residents needing help with yard work and odd jobs are asked

to call the Westfield Recreation Department at 326-4243 and we will

assist in arranging for a local teen to help.

Recreation Department Programs continue

Adult Coed Volleyball - Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 pm in the WACS half


September thru March 1.

Pilates - Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 a.m. at the Eason Hall.
