Before teaching in Buffalo, Mrs. Morton taught in Cincinnati where she was founder and president of the Kindervelt group, which is a fundraising group for Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

Having retired last year, she and her husband of 39 years, Cam Morton, decided a few years ago that retirement would bring them to Mayville to live in the Morton family home. They have three adult sons who visit them often.

Mrs. Morton, who is aware of and anxious to be part of the foundation's financial support for the WMH Emergency Department's renovation, noted, "I am honored to join this group in support of such a valuable local institution."
